Policewoman Cathy Buslon keeps the gate open for Christ.

Catherine Buslon is a policewoman. She is married to Rommel Buslon, recently retired policeman, with whom she has two children. We asked her how she seeks the good of others through her work. Her reflection:

As I work in a male-dominated organization, I initially found it challenging to openly introduce Christ in the workplace. I decided that the best way for me to open the camp gates for Christ was to lead by example, believing that others will recognize His presence through my actions.

I perform my duties wholeheartedly and treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of rank or position. I make every effort to be fair in my dealings, especially with those in the lower ranks, ensuring that each person is treated with dignity, compassion, and understanding.

As a Chief Clerk, I make it a priority to address the concerns of both the office and the personnel, reflecting the care, guidance, and servant leadership exemplified by Christ. This commitment often extends beyond the workplace, as the support and assistance provided also benefit the spouses and children of our personnel.

Being regarded as a reliable member of the organization reminds me that promoting the welfare of our personnel should always remain a priority. It is my hope that the entire organization will come to know Christ in a more personal way. I pray that they will deepen their relationship with Him and experience the same joy, peace, and purpose that I have found in Christ.
